Step 1 — Download your Wells Fargo statement as a PDF
- Go to wellsfargo.com on a desktop browser and sign on to Wells Fargo Online.
- Go to Statements & Documents (usually under Accounts).
- Pick the account, then the statement period. Wells Fargo keeps up to 7 years for deposit accounts (checking/savings), 2 years for credit cards, and 12 months for auto loans.
- Open the statement — it will usually open as a PDF — then click the Download icon to save it.
If your delivery preference is set to US Mail, change it to Online Statements first, or you won't see them online.
Step 2 — Convert it to Excel
- Go to statementwizard.ai
- Drop your Wells Fargo PDF in the converter. No account needed for your first file — guests get up to 3 conversions a day.
- Wait 30–90 seconds. Download Excel (.xlsx) or CSV with date, description, amount, type, and category.
- Open it in Excel or Google Sheets.
A free Basic account keeps 12 months of conversion history.
Check your work
Check the spreadsheet totals against the totals on the Wells Fargo PDF before you rely on the numbers.
Privacy
Your original PDF is deleted in about 10 minutes. Account numbers (last 4 digits kept), card numbers, government IDs, emails, and phone numbers are masked before the AI extracts the transactions. Guest results are kept up to 7 days, then deleted.
